Following on from the activity of musical performance, these are drawings for a performance centre in Helensburgh, just outside Glasgow.

The concept plays on how a building mainly used during the night-time may expose itself and avoid associations with musical style.

Exterior surface treatments are repeated on the interior and spaces are designed to attract or repel the eye and heighten the emotional value of the performance.
